we are so proud of you! you are such a sweetheart. you love to play games on your phone, wrestle with daddy {all the time!}, build LEGOS {you tell us the best kind are using your imagination and we totally agree!}, draw and cut out art & ride your bike or razor around the neighborhood.

december 31, 2010 - learned to sign "pick me up" and "milk"

your current words are: mama, dada, uh oh, baby {dada}, bath time

you are into everything! today I found you with one of Walker's hexbugs in your mouth - the entire bug while it was turned on and buzzing no less!

you love to do the pick me up sign to daddy every time you see him. you definitely love to be held by him. we now go on scooter rides or bike rides with you in your pink car and you love it - you keep your hands at 10 and 2 the whole time and like your daddy like to sit with your left leg out.

you do the motions to patty cake including roll it and pat it and you play peek a boo with us.

you love bath time with walker - especially when you both splash the water getting mama wet.

you still LOVE your baby and ask for it often. you pick it up and pat it repeatedly and carry it around with you most of the day.

you still love to nurse and are pretty much sleeping through the night consistently and taking 2 naps a day.

I can't believe that you will be one in just over a month. Our lives were forever changed the day that you were born - we love you Elle Adair!

Christmas 2010

walker getting a new {big boy} bike with no training wheels, a flashing red light, kick stand and a cup holder. {he was very specific for Santa}.

elle getting a new baby doll from Santa but only wanting to hold her old baby doll that was given to her from Walker.

Hosting my entire family for Christmas Eve dinner - 12 adults and 6 kids.

It was a wonderful time.

We had a Chinese gift exchange with the adults and that did not go over well with Walker - when Neil stole my gift he pretty much lost it. He keeps saying that he does not want to ever play that game {note to self - no Chinese gift exchanges with anyone under the age of 18!}

Christmas Program

Walker was a wiseman in the Christmas Program at school this year. He looked so cute and did awesome. By far the funniest part of the program was when the 3 wisemen walked up to give their gifts to the baby Jesus and instead of kneeling laid out flat on the bellies on the ground - for a good 2 minutes with their faces pointed to the ground. He was really thankful for baby Jesus!

I {LOVE} these two! What a wonderful and amazing year 2010 was for us! Adam and I are so blessed to have each other and can not even imagine two better suited children for us.

more milestones

{elle at 9 months}

oh sweet elle belle - you are growing too fast my sweet pea.

cruising EVERYWHERE. you have managed to put an entire ball {mini} in your mouth, a bird ornmaent, walker's figurines that go with his geotrax and numerous other things...you definitely keep daddy & me on our toes!

I took you to Santa on Monday and you LOVED him - probably could have sat on his lap all day and were all smiles. i took you by yourself because walker was adamant that he was just going to tell santa what he wanted and didn't need to sit on his lap {last lap sitting was 2 years ago!}

words you currently say: dada {the most frequent}, dog, sun {daddy sings you let the sun shine in when he gets you in the morning or from a nap and now you request it by saying sun}, attempting "brother" and your latest SANTA! yes, you have said Santa before mama!

cute things you do: throw your arms up in the arm when you are all done with eating, clap your hands together for more, clap for yourself ALL THE TIME {which is so cute so we keep encouraging it}, played with your first baby doll {a hand me down from Walker} and attempted your first walking pushing the red radio flyer wagon that walker learned on when he was one.

Walker

first sleepover {we were still there but he slept in his cousin's room on air mattress with him for 1/2 the night}

what you are into these days: video games {ALL THE TIME whether it be iphone apps, your DS or a computer game}, Tom & Jerry {your favorite show by far and I love the way that it makes you laugh out loud - especially when we are riding in the car and you have your headphones on so all we hear are the occasional belly laughs from you}, playing with jonathan and claire at school {you tell me who you play with each day and usually it is jonathan but yesterday you said that you started with jonathan and then stopped to play with claire}, riding your bike {family bike rides are so much fun}, your dad {you can't wait for him to get home and he always puts you to bed and I can usually hear some sort of giggling or stories going on in your room}

you have the best manners - you always respond with yes ma'am and yes sir and say please and thank you. you definitely are a sweet soul and i am so happy to be your mama.
