Baba & Bunnies

Sweet sweet baby girl. Her love for her "baba" and her "bunnies" is definitely a strong one. She doesn't go to sleep without any of them and she will often sneak into her room during the day and take them out of her crib. If she sees a baba or bunny then she immediately asks for the other one and then snuggles both bunnies really close to her neck. Love this baby girl.

Thankful Day 3

I am thankful for my wonderful mother that I am in awe of daily now that I am a mom. The selflessness and devotion she gave to each of her 6 children is amazing and I hope that she knows how much I truly appreciate and love her for it.

Thankful Day 2

I am thankful for a hubby that is so wonderful and supportive. Supportive enough to wear a "Run Lyndsay Run" with "That's my wife" on the back and wake up at 4:00 am to take my friends and me {with we are the champions on repeat} to the convention center for me to run my first marathon.

Thankful Day 1

I am thankful for being blessed with the job of being a mama to two amazing kids.

Halloween 2011

One sweet as pie Garden Butterfly Fairy and one adorable but TOUGH Ninja. It was a fun night. We could not keep up with Walker as he darted from house to house with his friends looking way to grown up and then little Miss Elle walked slowly up to each house with her daddy and politely responded "tank you" each time someone gave her candy. She learned to say "Trick or Treat, Smell my Feet" from her brother and would giggle each time. Elle's wings didn't make it to the Halloween party or the trick or treating afterward - too much baggage for a little girl on mission.

Swim Team!

Walker had his first swim meet last night. He swam the 25 free for 6 and under boys and did great! I was so glad that he swam the entire way! He placed third in his heat and received a white ribbon with gold writing on it and as he walked around the deck back to the sitting area he beamed "I got the gold ribbon! I got the gold ribbon" to anyone and everyone he saw along the way!

On the drive home, I asked him what his most favorite thing about the swim meet was and he quickly responded "getting my first ring pop". Of course - 5 hours of being at the meet, countless swim practices and lessons with Elle in tow and he is going to remember the ring pop!
